CAMP FACILITIES: Our camps take place in our theater and surrounding spaces. We have a mainstage, a green room/rehearsal room with mirrors, and some outdoor rehearsal space. We also share space with the Foster City Recreation department, and a local school.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Hillbarn Theatre Conservatory, formed in 2000, is a theatre arts education program serving the needs of youth and adolescents, ages 4-18, in Foster City and the mid-peninsula area.

• An in-depth, training ground for young people who want to learn any aspect of theatre and performance.

• Valuable life skills, gaining, confidence in a professional, supportive environment. The need for artistic experience, whether as audience or artist, is universal.

•Hillbarn Theatre is committed to the concept that non-professional performers and technicians, when led by our staff, trained professionals and guest artists can produce performances of high quality that generate personal and artistic growth.

It is important for the students of performing arts and for performing arts in general that Hillbarn Theatre sustains the educational programs for youth vis-à-vis our ongoing Conservatory sessions, and to explore the development and initiation of YEAH! (Youth Embracing Arts at Hillbarn), a program to foster growth and offer a supportive outlet for all students of performing arts including marginalized and developmentally disabled youth.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our Story Ballet Camp is designed for students ages 3 to 5 and ages 6 to 8 to increase the love and appreciation of the art of dance while improving coordination, physical fitness, performance ability, self-esteem and discipline. A storybook theme will be offered during each session, and all activities will revolve around the ballet theme. There will be a demonstration at the end of the week for parents to attend.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: California Theatre Center's Core Conservatory is a full-day theatre experience for students with or without prior theatre training. Students work hands-on with CTC's professional teaching artists in acting, movement and voice classes. All students are cast in a play that is performed for the public on the final two days. In this process-based Conservatory, the students also design and build all props, sets, costumes, tickets and programs as they engage in and learn about every aspect of live theatre. Includes 4 tickets to Summer Rep, CTC's professional repertory season of plays.

These tracks are campers' concentration for each session. All instruction takes place in small group lessons and is led by experienced and enthusiastic female musicians, producers, artists, and teachers.

MEALS
Food, glorious food! All meals are delicious and included. Breakfast is typically served between 7:00–8:00 am; lunch is around 12:00 pm; and dinner is usually around 6:00 pm. This is subject to change, so please keep your ears perked throughout the day for announcements to make sure you don’t miss a meal. We offer both vegan and omnivore options and healthy snacks are available throughout the day.

SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST PERFORMANCES
Every session, a different band plays a live set for the girls and then sticks around for an intimate Q&A. In our end of program survey this was a major highlight for the girls. They learned about different genres of music and had a fun time listening to the bands and getting to engage in meaningful discussions with the visiting artists.

FINAL SHOWCASE
At the end of the session, all campers show off their original work at the Final Showcase for the whole camp community!

THE FACILITY
Amplify Sleep Away Camp is very proudly in residence at Besant Hill School. Set in the mountains of Ojai, California, this amazing facility boasts one of the best views in Ventura County. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Young Dancer Camp is designed for the young dance student, ages 8 to 10, who are currently enrolled in Ballet Level 1, 2 or 3 and are taking a minimum of two to three ballet classes a week. It is a comprehensive program that enhances the dancer’s classical ballet training and introduces the dancer to character, historical dance, jazz, etiquette and proper stretching. Southland Ballet Academy's outstanding faculty will be teaching this camp.

CAMP FACILITIES: Beautiful and recently renovated Black Box Theater. It has a stage and comfortable back stage. All of our props and backgrounds are designed and created by hand. Elevated seating that can fit up to 90 people. There is a ticket booth and a functioning restroom. Different types of lighting: black light, fluorescent, stage lighting, rope lighting, and a disco ball. A working sound board, music, and up-to-date stereo system. We utilize different media options as well.

A few buildings away is our main office, where rehearsals may sometimes be held. It has 3 spacious rehearsal rooms, each with a baby grand piano.

Performance for family and friends at the end of the camp.

We do not skip out on costumes! Every participant will be outfitted in a role and age appropriate costumes for the performance. The actors and actress will also interact with carefully designed and created props.

Students will be learning stage position, projection of their voice, blocking, how to interpret a script, read music, sing in a group, and dancing.

Since the plays we do are musicals, the actors and actresses will learn the basics of singing. It includes, reading music, matching pitch, group and possibly solo singing, tempo, and rhythms. Our choreographer will teach dance positions, dance moves, rhythm, counting, and tempo.

Monday through Friday, 9AM to 4PM, beginning July 15 and going through August 9th. The camp location will be in Livermore, and is for children aged 7-17. The performances are on Saturday, August 10th and Sunday, August 11th.

The Phoenix Ranch Staff (18 years of age or older) will undergo over 30 hours of pre-camp and in-service training. All staff has additionally been background checked and fingerprinted and trained in basic first aid.

Students form multidisciplinary teams that work together under industry mentorship to create cool, compelling and unexpected SHORT-FORM CONTENT. All students participate in our master class series on Wednesdays and Collaboration Labs on Fridays. CAMP FACILITIES: In both NYC and LA, campuses are accessible only with a valid AMDA photo identification card, which High School Summer Conservatory students receive.

Supervision is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. When students are not in class with our world-class faculty, they are supervised by members of our trained AMDA staff.

Students leave campus only for planned and chaperoned outings, which may include going to a Broadway show or visiting NYC and LA tourist destinations.

CAMP FACILITIES: River Way Ranch Camp operates as a resort 9 months out of the year when camp is not in session. Campers stay in air-conditioned cabins, and sleep 8 to a room, with two counselors. Cabins are complete with a private bathroom and shower, closest and sink area. River Way Ranch Camp is a beautiful facility, complete with stables, basketball and tennis courts, three pools, an on-site lake, and a high and low ropes course facility.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: River Way campers are divided into divisions. The Buckaroos (ages 7-9) have two counselors with each cabin group at all times. They receive a challenging diversified schedule, teaching them many new skills. Beginning at age 10, Rancheros and Seniors have free choices of activity. Transportation is available by charter bus from Southern and Northern California, as well as airport transportation from Fresno International Airport (FAT).

CAMP FACILITIES: Mariposa Day Camp, located in Altadena, offers themed weeks with several different emphases for girls to choose from. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: LVCC MUSICAL THEATRE WORKSHOP was born of a passion for helping children discover confidence and learn life skills in the process of creating Musical Theatre. We know that many valuable life skills can be developed in the process of creating ART, especially when the creation process takes place with collaboration.

LVCCMTW is a place where the individual is nurtured, cared about and supported. We believe in positivity and unique expression. We have a "zero-tolerance" policy on negativity. This camp is a place where loving, encouraging, creativity takes place and character building elements are valued and taught. We believe that we are helping to "BUILD BETTER HUMANS THROUGH MUSICAL THEATRE" by focusing on collaboration, acceptance,creativity, respect, friendship, and individual expression. We build these elements into everything we do.

During each one-week session, 120 Campers are divided, by age, into seven groups: Preschool - High School.
Each group spends the week from 9-3 each day attending sessions in ACTING, DANCE, MUSIC, STAGECRAFT and THEATRE ARTS,creating a unique, original Musical Theatre Production for performance at the Friday Night Showcase.

Each age group is joined by trained, experienced, caring counselors who accompany them throughout their day. We believe in personal attention to each camper, therefore we keep our camper to counselor ratio very small. In our preschool 1/2 day program, our ratio is 3 campers to one counselor. This ratio increases only slightly with each age group. Our maximum ratio is in the 9th-10th grade Leadership Training program, where the ratio is only 6:1. We believe that adhering strictly to this ratio allows each camper maximum support for their individual creative expression and gives our staff an opportunity to relate to every camper individually.

Our caring instructors are skilled, educated, and experienced in their craft and have a passion for helping kids discover their skills, talents and self confidence in each of the respective elements of Musical Theatre creation.

Stagecraft: Campers will make (or assist in making) their own sets, props and costumes, using age-level based artistic expression, creative and technical skills.

Dance: Campers will be taught a dance and will learn dance terms and basic dance moves. They will learn or improve their ability to be comfortable with dance and with moving their bodies.

Acting: campers will learn and rehearse their scene for the showcase. As age/ability increases, campers also participate in writing their own lines, some of the scene, or the whole scene.

Music: campers learn the song for their performance. They will focus on basic musical terms and concepts. As age/ability increases, campers participate in solo and small group singing, understanding and performing harmony and lyric writing/music composition skills.

Theatre Arts: Campers gain understanding of the concepts and ideas needed to fully comprehend their scene/character for the performance showcase. As age/ability increases, campers participate in character development, exploration of personal strengths/goals, collaborative creation process.

Preschool/Kinder students attend a 1/2 day camp where some of these classes are combined. All other campers attend full day camp.

9th/10th grade campers also attend child development class and leadership training and function as an instructor assistant for some of the day as part of our Leadership Training Certification Program.

CAMP FACILITIES: ODC Dance Commons, a 23,000 square foot building located at 351 Shotwell St. (between 17th and 18th streets), offers an environment where professionals, emerging artists, students, and dance fans can congregate, exchange ideas and inspire one another. ODC Dance Commons includes:

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: This Summer ODC School will be offering an 8 week session for our Young Creative classes for students age 2-7, classes will take place Saturday's and Sunday's June 7-July 27, 2014. For youth ages 8-12 we will be offering a 4-week Youth class session. Classes will be offered in the afternoons Monday-Friday July 7- August 1, 2014.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Scholarships are available.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Youth and Teen programs year-round.

CAMP FACILITIES: All our locations have a theatre or stage. Our Friday productions run with full lights, costumes, sound and projections.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camps runs weekly throughout the summer in 3 different locations. Sign up for one week or multiple weeks (Multi-camp discounts) Camp runs 9am - 2pm with before and after care available.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Musical Theatre, Private and Group lesson in acting, voice, piano, guitar and dance

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Activities include a ropes course, BMX, mountain biking, climbing wall, surfing, trapeze, archery, basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, volleyball, board diving, fencing, arts and crafts, horseback riding, vaulting, riflery, scrapbooking, journaling, martial arts, silk painting, skin diving, swimming, water polo, and more. Campers live in cabins with adult counselors to supervise. For two week sessions there are trips to the beach to complete the well rounded program.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Kennolyn Camps has a three year leadership program. CILT (camper in leadership training) is year one, CIT (counselor in training) for year two, and lastly JC (junior counselor) is year three. Please see our website for more information.
